Changes to the Script During Filming

During filming, we made a variety of different changes to our script. We did this, firstly to make sure that our plot line was understandable, as the original script left some things open and for the audience to wonder what was happening. For our film, we decided that our narrative should be that of a closed one, so the film is fully explained.

We made the changes to our script on the basis of our mid-production questionnaire, in which we asked people to watch what we had of our film so far, and to answer a series of questions, such as what people like so far about our film and what people dislike and what should be improved. We found that some people thought there was too much walking in the film, and so we cut out some scenes. We also found that people thought the graveyard scene was not climatic enough, and some people also felt that Amy was not in the film enough, and so we created some new scenes that had Amy featured in it, including the graveyard, to show how Chloe was dead, and Amy was visiting her grave. The final change we made was adding more diary entries in order to show Chloe's internal thoughts and explain some things within the plot, to make sure that the audience would understand what was happening towards the end of the film.
