For my first draft of our film poster, i decided to use an image of someone placing their hand on glass and showing a shadowy silhouette. This creates a sense of mystery, as the viewer is unable to recognise who the person is. This theme is typical of a thriller film and is why I have chosen to include this in my poster, so that the theme is conveyed through the poster and is instantly recognisable to people, due to its iconography.
